Place card holders

So, my place cards are going to be replicas of Disney FastPass tickets (see my details photo album for a pic). I'm trying to figure out how to display them since they don't fold and stay up on their own.

I could just have them lay flat on the glass table, do you think thats ok?

The other things I've considered is a ribbon board and displaying them that way. I don't want a crazy place holder, but maybe just a simple wire one? I've seen those on etsy.


What do you think? what would you do?

I'm using these. I still can't for the life of me figure out why I can't post pictures here.

I just have to say that I absolutely LOVE the fastpass idea! FH and I were engaged down in WDW and his favorite attraction is Splash Mountain! Can't wait to show him this creation...he'll love it.

As far as where to put them, I think if you leave them on the table, they'll have a greater chance of falling off the table or getting shuffled around too much. I like the idea of the ribbon board, but if you can find the wire place card holder, that might be the best bet.

My sister already started sprucing up the design (she designed the wedding invites, too) so they look really cool! We are definitely having a Splash Mountain table! ;) I can't wait to make the seating chart and pick which groups of people sit at which 'ride' tables!!

This is exactly what I am doing! And I was trying to figure out the seating cards and this is perfect. I was going to use something like the little fairytale holders that were posted or somehow, try to incorporate using the maps of the parks into some kind of board to put the cards on.
