Re: Place card holders? Need advice
I dont think you have to have them, but I think it is a good idea. Some halls give them to you. Mine does, but I am getting my own. Im getting menus, place cards and table numbers from documentsanddesigns.com
I love the candles. We are probably doing candle centerpieces so it would match. Where did you get them?

I bought the Votive holders from e-bay...since its per couple it was about $25 for them, the tealights that go inside I got at michaels for $3.99 for 100 and I bought ribbon and vellum for the outside on e-bay for $5.00 total... So it cost about $35 and I will print on the vellum and set them up...

Re: Place card holders? Need advice
I don't plan on doing placecard holders. Instead, I plan on doing a board with everyones name in alphabectical order and the table # where they are sitting next to their name. It sounds cheesy, but if you do it up really nice and then put it in a nice big frame, it looks great! My friends did it for their wedding. Check out this link for what I'm talking about b/c I don't know if I'm explaining it right.
i think you can go either way... this is one place we are not spending extra money... i think we are just using the cards from the hall
