we are actually doing a seating chart - it will pretty much direct our guests to which table they will be seated at and then at each table we will have a place card at each setting letting the guest know where to sit. The only reason we are doing assigned seating though is because we are doing something special for the mother's at the wedding since the following day is Mother's Day and we will be leaving something extra at each of their seats.
