Place Card Question

when writing or printing the names on the place cards do you have to write everyones name and their guests name.
Example 1: Ms. Jane Smith
and
Mr. John Woods

Example 2.: Ms. Jane Smith
and
Guest

What I am asking is that If I invite a friend or relative and I do not have their guests name do i have to make phone calls to find out the guests name????????????

I agree that and guest will be fine. This way if for some reason they change their guest at the last minute there are no issues.

Wow..that is a good question. I am going to say no..if you dont know the name of the guest I think you would put 'Ms. Jane Smith and Guest'..I mean when you send out the invitation you write 'Ms.Jane Smith and guest'..so why not on the place card??

give it some time! when you get your RSVP cards back, people may respond with the guests name.....
