Place Card question...

When writing out your place cards, how do you write them? Do you write one card per couple, family, etc.? Or do you do all separate ones? Thanks!

I am writing one card per couple. I think at small dinner parties they usually do one per person, but at a wedding its done by couple.

Im going to do one per couple because its cheaper and saves time.

But I have been to weddings where there was one per person and I know the dates really appreciated being considered a real person instead of an escort.

We're putting the guest/date/significant other's names on the cards as well. I think if 'cousin Donna' was bringing 'Joe Schmoe', he would never think to look for his own name... he would assume he was sitting wherever she was. That's how it would be w/ my family anyway...
