place card question

Do you right Mr. & Mrs. John Smith? Or do you use first names? Marie & Joe. If it is a couple that is not married do you right out their first and last name? Miss. Rosa Parka & Mr. Joe Lablank or Just Rosa & Joe?

Re: place card question

I wouldn't do first names-the hall puts them alphabetical-just think how many Johns and Mikes you'll have. I am doing Mr & Mrs Michael Smith Or Mr Michael Smith and Miss Jane Banks and if necessary Mr Michael Smith & Guest (only if I can't get guests name).

Mr. & Mrs. John Smith
Mr. John Smith & Ms. Jane Doe

or if not so formal
John and Mary Smith
John Smith & Jane Doe

Alphabetized by last name, not first.

I would do Mr. and Mrs. Joe Smith for married couples and Mr. Joe Smith and Ms. Jane Doe for unmarried couples. That’s how I’ve always seen it at other weddings.

I am addressing them the way i did my invitations

example: Mr. & Mrs. john Smith

if it is a single person bringing a date then it would be

example John Smith & Jessica White
