Place Card - Questions

Hi girls. I have a few questions. I am about to start making my place cards. First of all, does the bride sit on the left or the right of the table (dias)? I need to know which side of the room to put my family (left or right). The second question is how do I write out the place cards:

Mr. and Mrs. Soandso
Table Number One

or Table No. 1? And what about families with children? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Personally, I like Table One, better than Table 1. But I think you should keep it consistent with what the actual table cards look like.
Put Mr. & Mrs. Bill Smith and then their children's name under their name. Children over 16 should get their own cards.
