Place card setting/wording

Place card setting/wording

How are you wording your place cards? If you invited someone 'and guest' but on their response card they kept it 'and guest'... do you write the 'and guest' on the place card setting or do you try to find out the name of their guest?

Most people were smart enough and wrote the name of who they're bringing, but some didn't.

What to do?

for the ones that replied with their dates name, i put the name on the placecard.

for the ones that replied with 'and guest', i just put 'and guest' on the placecard.

We're printing them out and then putting them in little frames.

How do you print them? I mean do you have full sheets or are they individual place cards?

I'm going to set up all the names on one sheet and then just cut them to size. This doesn't have to be perfect, so I'm not putting much effort into it. Or I should say, not much stress. I'm using the same paper I used for my direction cards.

How I'm going to lay it all out, don't ask me that yet

AC Moore, Walmart, and Staples (I'm sure other places as well) sell place cards that you can print. There are 6 on a sheet and they have perforated edges.

Oooooh....maybe I should check into this!! I need them to be able to fit inside a frame though.

I'm trying to find out the dimensions (I picked some up last Sat and throughout the week at AC Moore with their 50% off coupon).

They seem to be 1 3/4 X 4 1/4 (that's the front side, they fold in half)

Maybe you could look into getting the perforated business cards depending on the size of your frames.
