place card template?

I want to print 2.5 x 3.5 place cards to put in my place card frames... and I can't figure out how to make a template.

Help please!!

Go to word and table > insert table >set the table to be 2 columns and 3 rows. Set the column width to 3.5 inches.

Click okay.

Highlight the entire table and right click on it. Scroll to table properties and click. Choose row properties and set height to 2.5 inches exactly.
