How do you word them? Does each person get their own, or is it by couple.
I don't want to do Mr. and Mrs. John Smith because I want Jane Smith's name mentioned. Mr. and Mrs. John and Jane Smith takes up too much space. What did everyone else do, or what do you plan on doing? Thanks! OH, and I have to print them today to bring to hall tomorrow!!!!

Sorry, I think it is Mr. and Mrs John Smith! If the person is single with a guest then it will be Mr. John Smith and Guest or if you know the guest's name then Mr. John Smith and Miss. Jane Doe or if you invited a single girlfriend with a guest then I think you would put Miss. Sara Doe and Mr. Frank Smith or Guest.

Re: place card wording
Agreed. I did Mr. & Mrs. John Smith (depending on the names sometimes that JUST fit anyway!) and if it was an unmarried couple, I did Mr. John Smith & Ms. Mary Jones. Single person I did Mr. John Smith.

Re: place card wording
What if you just did John and Jane Smith....get rid of the Mr. and Mrs. all together!

Not a bad idea! We are also thinking of doing it on 2 lines --
Mr. John Smith Mrs. Jane Smith
Table 1
What do you think?

I like that too...your place cards do not need to be as formal as the invites.. I like it!

Thanks! I feel better! That's what I'm going to do! I know that once I'm married, I don't want my first name gone from everything! I did it the formal way for the invites, and all my friends and younger couples wrote back with both their names, and I felt bad for not including them to begin with.

Re: place card wording
Well for invites you should do it the formal way so don't feel bad...but I think it is fine for the place cards to do it however you want!

Re: place card wording
I'm having them done by couple- Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Brown, etc. If you want to do them to include everyone's first names like 'Mrs. Jane Brown' you might have to do them separately (more work and placecards!!).
