Place Card Wording Question

Can I use the standard 'Ms.' or, if I know they are married, use 'Mrs.'? What if they are married but the woman didn't change her last name? Is it still 'Mrs.'
Mr. Joe Smith & Mrs. Betty Johnson?

Good question... if they didnt change their name.. i'd think it would still be Ms... I was only going to use Mrs if she shares her husbands name..

If they are married, it should be Mrs. Even if they didn't change their name, it should still be Mrs. I used Ms. only for single women over 18.

This is not true- If the woman did not change her name or she hyphenated it she is Ms.

Ok I've got 1 for ya.
What if they are seperated from their husbands. Is it still Mrs? Or if they are divorced but still have their ex's last name. What then??

I'd use a Ms. in this case.

Ms. is always the safe option!
