Just a question - on place cards is it wrong to write Mr so and so and guest? or do i have to find out the name of the guest???

If you know the name, I'd write.. but if not, '& Guest' is fine!

I agree, I think if you don't know the name it is fine to say that- I mean you put Mr & Mrs John Doe and don't name the woman so if that is fine then guest is fine IMO- am I making any sense? I feel like I can't get my thoughts out today

yeah, if u do not know who the guest is you just can put Mr. John Smith & Guest. I am doing that for a few guests

I was told that if the couple in engaged then her/his entire name should also be on the place card. I also did both names if we were friends with them both and neither was somone elses guest.
