help! How did you do them? Did you have them printed up before hand? But how did you know who was or was not coming? Or did you buy the blank ones that said M___________ table No. __________ and hand wrote them the week before the wedding?
What is the best way to do them?

Most halls give you ones that are already preprinted and all you have to do is write in the name and table #. I am not using the hall ones but I brought ones that I can print the seating card on the computer and I am probably going to be doing mine after my RSVP date.

I did mine as the responses came in, just so I didnt have to do them all last minute. Of course we got the people who called a few days before with a change of plans so there were a couple that I had to re-do. I did mine on the computer, we used a picture frame place card so I made my own to fit the frame. If you are not using a picture frame, a lot of halls provide the cards for you. You could either try to do them with a nice font on the computer, have someone do calligraphy on them, or hand write them. I have seen all ways done. and yes we used that format:
