Re: Place cards
I might just use the place card the RH provide and put the money towards something else snazzy for the guests.
Or you could even DIY really cool place cards to.

Re: Place cards
my rh does not have them but even if they did I probably wouldn't of used them because i am a designer and picky in that department. I would go for it if they give them to you because honestly no one cares about a damn card to tell you where you are sitting ioI

Lol. Yeah, I think that I'm going to use the ones from the RH. I have a few diy's in mind but I don't want to go overboard. Besides, our banquet manager was trying to explain how he suggested we format them like from a computer and my head was spinning. Haha, that will be enough to try and figure out. But I think I might get stickers or something that go along with my theme and attach them to them. My friend at work and I were just talking about this. She was saying like there are things that people besides the bride are not really going to care about and she's like cool placecards are nice but they are a lot of work for something that will probably get thrown away. That put it in perspective for me.

lol..it's really true.. i've never once looked at the place card and been like OMG this is awful .. i just grab it ..find my table and put it in my bag. lol. I do save them though because i scrapbook.. but i know most people don't! I think it's just nice to have it fit into your color scheme or theme cause it's important to us brides.. and it does give a nice effect when everything ties in together.. but i don't think it's a super important part of the wedding itself! I feel like if u can save some $$ by using the ones RH gives you to put that into something else that's special than go for it.. unless you have a very specific idea of what u want for your cards or are doing a DIY project

Re: Place cards
I agree that this is an area you can save money but I have seen in occasions brides tie things to their place cards making them like a mini favor. I think that is a cute idea. I would use jordan almonds if I do this.

Re: Place cards
our RH provided them... but we didn't use them.
i didn't like how they said the name of the RH on them... i wanted them to just be simple white tent cards done by our calligrapher
