Place cards

Ok so the R-hall, gave us a stack of Place cards to fill out. Will it look tacky if we hand write them out instead of printing or getting them professionally done?

No. I don't think so. People hardly look at those. Better maybe to spend the money on some personalized matches or something.

If you have good handwriting - or can enlist someone who does - I think it could look very nice.

I think it is fine!! I actually hand wrote for one of BM's for her wedding b/c she doesnt have neat handwriting & she likes mine!! lol

OK good, I have very nice hand writing. I didn't think it would be a big thing, but wanted other brides opinion's. I would rather spend the money on something else!!

I just posted the same thing because I was getting paranoid about writing mine out.

FH said it really didn't matter as long as the handwriting was neat and that he wishes he can help me out but his handwriting was too messy for everything...

Handwriting your place cards is perfectly fine - We are doing the same thing.

I think I have only seen handwritten ones.. and they look fine.. they just get thrown out anyways

I don't even think anyone would look at them and notice something like that to be honest with you. I think it would like great.

this is what i do when i see a placecard:
1) i make sure it's my name
2) i look at the table number
3) stuff it into my purse

i may be the only one who does this, but i think there are others out there, too, who do the same
