I saw some pictures of votive candles with the names of the guests on them and their table number. Then candles were lit. FH and I thought they were very beautiful and elegant. Does anyone know where I can get this or how I can make them myself?
I am doing it myself I bought clear labels and votive holders from 99 cents store I will post pics when i get home , so easy and fun

Re: place cards
I read a review recently where a girl did those as a DIY. THEY WERE BEAUTIFUL! She bought the votives from Michaels and printed the names and table numbers on vellum paper, which she use double sided tape (I think) to stick around the holder. Let me try to find the review.
ETA: here's the review in which I saw the votive placecards, which she describes making about halfway down: review

This review is SO helpful, I think most of the girls have used it as a directional

here are some pics for inspiration. looks like a fairly easy DIY- probably just printing on vellum paper and then you can use double sided tape to keep it around the candle and thats about it. you can get creative about color, font , ribbon, and whatnot.

Thanks, these are all so pretty and I would like to do them but we had already bought picture frames so FH said we should just go with what we have. He said we would have to get all the stuff and it would take time to do blah blah blah! I guess it makes sense. Oh well, maybe we'll use this idea for our 25th wedding anniversary party!
