Just a quick question, do I need to do placecards for kids or usually parents assume that they are seating with their kids?
If so, does anyone have any unique ideas that I could use to make children's place cards. I heard someone using big lollipops and putting a label with the child's name, and the table number. Any suggestions would be helpful!

Re: Place Cards
Im going to do one for the kids. I think the lollipop idea is really cute. If its in the summer maybe do a flower for each kid with the names on the petals then put the stems in a vase with fake grass.

Re: Place Cards
How old are they? I saw this very cool idea that was little lunch boxes. Like the old school ones from the 80's. The name and table was on the front and inside were some things for them to do. A little coloring book and some crayons, stuff like that.

Re: Place Cards
We only had two small kids at the wedding and I didn't make special escort cards. I made the escort card to the family, for example 'The Hughes Family, Table 2'
Being the two kids were my niece and nephew, I made them each a bag of goodies and toys to keep them occupied through the evening.

Re: Place Cards
I did photo booth pic frames as place cards & originally was not going to give kids their own. I'm glad I did bc the kids spent more time in the photo booth then the parents did.
I originally was going to do either -Mr & Mrs John Smith & family or -The Smith Family

Re: Place Cards
I made each kid their own pinwheel, and I will have them each tagged with their name and table number.
