OMG! Ours came out gorgeous and EVERYONE loved them. We went to a place in Staten Island where we actually purchased our wedding invites too. Every guest complimented us on the calligraphy and she's cheap too! I think her name was Michelle.

she must be the Michelle Clark that everyone on here talks about. I emailed her. She's super inexpensive for envelope addressing so im assuming its the same for placecards

I'm not sure if that's her last name, but honestly she is AMAZING! We gave her 175 invites and she did them in under a week's time. Everyone loved how nicely they came out and we were very pleased.

I got my place cards yesterday. This is what they look like. The 'please be seated at table___' was done by a professional printer and I am having the names and table names done by a caligrapher. I plan on contacting Michele Clark and a few others.
i have been trying to figure this out too... i don't kmow if im gonna have neought ime to get them done form the time my family figures out the seating arrangment.. and IM SURE they will change it a zillion times.

I did them on the computer. I bought placecards from AC Moore and just followed the instructions!
I did my envelopes on the computer too and I also made menus, favor tags and tic tac labels, so this way I could have everything match.
We finished our seating arrangements soooo last minute we never would have had time to have a calligrapher do it!

I haven't decided on this one. My Mom has beautiful hand writing. She did my STD envelopes and offered to do my invites as well. Most people think it's calligraphy.
