Carrabaras on 347 is pretty good (Italian). I went there for my anniversary and its always crowded.
Also
J&Rs
Eldorado's (is like a bbq/mexican restaurant) in centereach

Ya know I wish there was a Cracker Barrel on Long Island!!!!!!!! That would be the 1st thing on my list.

Re: Place for Dinner

You have probably already been to Intermezzos.
La Famiglia is one of our favorite places ( in Smithtown).
We also like Cirellas in melville.

mmm la famiglia's in smithtown - corner of brooksite and 25 --- it's great, homestyle italian. Dinner is served in large portions - get a meat and a pasta and share! or just a nice pasta! mmm! I wanna go now...

Re: Place for Dinner

Gasho IS fun, but you definately need a reservation on the weekend.
I'd also recommend Intermezzo, Elk Street Grille in Port Jeff, Bella Vita City Grill in St. James

That place is awesome- we have never eaten there but we priced it out for our engagement party 2 years ago and got to see inside- it is really nice but very $$$$$$ we haven't eaten there as of yet- maybe for our one year wedding anniversary . . .
