Place for dresses

Where is a good place to try on dresses (either LI or NYC) and will allow you to take pictures even if you don't buy??

I went to the wedding center (DO NOT GO!!!) last weekend for my BM dresses and decided to try on dresses for myself. They had a NO PICTURE POLICY unless you were buying the dress from them. I was upset because I don't remember what I looked like when I tried them on. But I did fall in love with a PLBG...

Any Suggestions?

*editted for dress....i love maggies but the one i tried on did love me...

I got my dress at angel Bridal in east islip. the ladies were really nice and allowed pictues. i also loved the wedding atelier in nyc- so many great dresses and my attendant was fantastic, but I am not sure they allow photos.

you can take pictures at David's Bridal.

bridal suite of bayshore

had a great experience there...they 100% let you take pics

they were so nice and so accomodating, no time limit, didn't rush me...i had 5 people with me and they let them all look through the dresses and help out

i also heard village bridal in babylon lets you take pics, but ive never been there

Lotus in Brooklyn. I know how you feel, I would leave many of the stores forgetting what the dress looked like!

I've only gone to Pronovias in NYC. My sister was taking pictures with my phone camera the whole time & they didn't say anything... she was being kinda sneaky though. Not sure if you came in with a camera that they would allow it...
