I'm thinking ahead to FH's 30th b-day party. I'd like to have it someplace out, whether its just a hall and we provide food, or a restaurant. FMIL suggested it at her house (i don't care for that at all!!) AND 3 months before his b-day (WHAT?!? not happening!). So anyone have any ideas that won't cost an arm and a leg since the wedding will be 4-5 months later.

There's a restaurant called Giardino. It's located at 44-37 Douglaston Pkwy in Little Neck (right off of Northern Blvd). The phone number is 718-428-1090. The food is great there (and the prices are reasonable) and every single time FH and I go to eat there, there is some type of party going on. They have 2 rooms for parties. Good Luck

We had my dads retirement party at Millerage in a small room upstairs. It was very nise and reasonable. We had a dj and they had a dance floor. They are very willing to work with yoou.. Good Luck
