My friend is looking for a place where she could do her son's 1st birthday party. They prefer to keep it on the Upper East Side. They would prefer to bring their own food (like pizza, etc).
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

If there are lots of children-- Dylan's Candy Bar... it's across the street from Bloomindales.

OOOhh, Dylan's, that's a good one.
There's Serendipity,right donw the road from Dylans.
The Natural History Museum does kids parites, but may be and is on West Side.
