I am trying to locate place mats that either look like shells or white stone. The only one I've been able to find online is very expensive. I attached a picture below that I located and want to find something similar!
I saw those placemats out in Greenport in the general goods type store. I'm sorry I don't remember the name of the store, but I its on the north side of the street on Main Street in Greenport. From what I remember, the placemats were on the expensive side, but they were beautiful.

I don't know how much you want to spend but I found these 4 for $50.
That is a great idea actually...i will def. do that. Do you think this would be a nice centerpiece for a beach wedding? I have an appointment with a florist but I think this is something I could actually put together or save some cost on by doing partially on my own, maybe for the CH tables or the Place Card table, maybe even the bar.

It's a great look. See what the cost of the tile sheets would be. I know that the Expo has different types of stones, tiles, maybe even something that looks like beach glass. I just don't know what the cost is. They most likely will be 12' x 12' inch sheets that you can lay together to make your mats.
Woven grass or bamboo mats would look nice too, sort of a beachy look to them.

What about Ikea - they tend to have things that can look like that - maybe in the garden section - as like something for plants to rest on...or a hot plate holder type thing that you can sew together..
Am I making sense??

Total sense, I looked online yesterday googling rock/pebble/stone/shell hot plate, placemats, i got a headache by the end of it. But Ikea does tend to have stuff like that.
