Placecard Etiquette - '&' for siblings?

Placecard Etiquette - '&' for siblings?

Hi ladies,

I am working on my placecards and wasn't sure about placecard etiquette.

I have 2 brothers attending and plan on using only one placecard for them which is what I would have done if their parents came too.

For the two brothers, should the placecard say:

John Doe
Peter Doe

OR

John Doe &
Peter Doe

Didn't know if the '&' is really only used for couples...

TIA!!

i would do one for each...but if you want to put both on one i would skip the '&' as to me it implies a couple...

i am working on mine as well and am creating one for each person.

i think it looks as if they are a gay couple. you should do one place card for each, definetly.

Thanks ladies. Ok, I will do separate placecards.

It think it's proper to put one name for a couple, but for individual people I would put one name on each.
IMO
