Placecard Help

We're having our very casual wedding at the beach (Sunken Meadow) and we're doing favors as donations, so I thought it would be cute to roll them up in bottles with corks, label the bottles with a tag, and use these as placecards.

I'd love to stick them in big metal tubs or barrels of sand . . . but any idea where you get these cheaply on the Island?

If I can't find them, I may just string up the cards on a ribbon or clotheslines and keep the favors at the table.

Any ideas? Is this stupid? Help!

What about a Home Depot or Lowe's?

They might have big metal bins that you can add some pizazz too.

You could also try big terra cotta plant pots. You could fill these with sand and get the same effect.

Yeah, I thought of that . . . in fact we were at Lowe's this afternoon and saw some, but they're a little small . . . I guess I could gang them all up together. Maybe get one for every couple letters of the alphabet . . . ?
