I have silly question...when you are doing the place cards do you do mr and mrs smith or does mr get his own and then mrs get her own what about billy and guest how does this work???

I think you do them the same way you did the invitation.
Mr. Billy xxxx & guest ( if you know who the guest is you can put the name in.. i think thats a nice touch!)

ok so if you have 150 guests and you will really only need 75 placecards
