placecard question

Do you give the DJ and photographer a placecard. so they know which table is there's

How do you go about that?

This is not necessary. They will speak with the staff at your reception to know where they will sit for breaks and eating.
Even though they MAY count in your final head count, they should not be seated with your guests.

don't think so...they're usually set up in the table closest to the entertainment.

so I dont have to mark a table for the dj and photographer.

When I go for my appt with the RH i'll ask them what there procedure is

Nope, vendors do not sit with your guests during dinner. They will leave the room and eat usually in the cocktail room.
