So does every guest get their own placecard, or do married couples only get one placecard with both names on it? Or can we do everyone who brings a date with both names on one placecard? I'm confused and I can't find the answer anywhere! TIA!

Re: placecard question
This is what I have seen, as well as what we are doing
Married: Mr & Mrs. XXX or first names XXX
Couples (not married) both 1st and last names
We do not have any +1's but if we did it and did not know the name it would be Mr or Ms. XXX & guest.
Singles with no one: Mr. or Ms. 1st and last name

Re: placecard question
It depends on if you mean 'place cards' or 'escort cards'.
Escort cards are the cards we usually see at weddings that tell you what table you are sitting at. Place cards are at each table setting; therefore, your guests are assigned a table and a seat at that table. Typically, just escort cards are used.
It depends on how formal your wedding is. We did:
Mr. & Mrs. Joe Smith for married couples
Mr. Joe Smith and Ms. Jane Doe for non-married couples and for guests that brought a +1
Mr. Joe Smith and Guest we only had to do for 2 cards b/c we didn't know their +1's name
Some people just use first and last names and no Mr. or Ms./Mrs...it's up to you.
