Placecard writing

Placecard writing

I want to start preparing my place cards on the computer and was wonder ing how you write them.

Please let me know if these are correct:
For married couples you would write:
Mr. & Mrs. Smith

For couples dating and you know their names you would write:
Mr. John Smith
Ms. Jane Smith

For those who are single but might bring a guest you would write:
Mr. John Smith and Guest
or
Ms. Jane Smith and Guest

But, what do you write for married couples or single parents who have kids that they are bringing to the wedding? How should that look on the card? Ladies, any ideas?

Everything looks good above.

Personally, I would do separate place cards for the kids.

wow!! you're already doing placecards? you are super ahead of the game!

lol - i still have to truly finalize the guest list and i'm 3 months before you!

btw--looks pretty good on what you're already doing.

ETA: for married couples--since i'm sure with family there, you might have more than one Mr. & Mrs. Smith...you might want to consider the Mr. & Mrs. John Smith...Mr. & Mrs. Jack Smith, etc.

as for family--Mr. & Mrs. John Smith and Family? not sure on that one

Re: Placecard writing

I would give the kids separate cards for 2 reasons-1) if the family has more thank 1 kid the card can get over crowed with names and 2) i most kids (well mabye just girls) will feel special having their own card.
