I am having my engagement party next month. I went to staples to buy those 'tent cards' for my placecards...thought this would be the best thing possible (don't really want to buy frames or the little holders...it is only the engagement party!). So I take them home, and I realize that they are 2 1/2 '' by 8 1/2 '' inches...that is very long...there is no way I am going to be able to fit 60-70 of these on whatever my hall gives me to use as a placecard table....
So I need suggestions on what else to do...I was thinking of buying the business card sheets and just lying them flat on the table...
Help!

Re: Placecards???
that is the thing...they didn't have any others which is why I bought these...and I even went on Microsoft word to see if there were any other templates (thinking there had to be a smaller one) and the only other one they had was 1.75 '' x 7.5 '' which is practically the same size and too long in my opinion....

Re: Placecards???
if you have nice handwriting, they sell blank place cards (separated, not sheets- so you can't put them through your printer) at party supply stores. hope that helps.

Re: Placecards???
I didn't like the ones Staples had. Printing stores, like Pritn Icon & Paperaccess on 18th street in Manhattan have better ones.
They are about 2 1/4 x 3 3/4.

Re: Placecards???
Michael's the craft store might have what you are looking for - I have seen the DIY kits with the cards that are a decent size.

I just got back from Michaels! They have placecard sheets that you can run through the printer.

I second Print Icon and Paper Access, this is how I created ours...
