Placecards....

Placecards....

Since we are having a caterer come to our site, we had to put food choices on the RSVP...Beef, chicken or vegetarian. When I spoke to the caterer yesterday, she said they will need placecards on the table with eveyones choices printed on their card. So my question is....do I have the placecards set up in the foyer and have them bring them to the table, or have them pre-set at the table? I hate the idea of people's 'seats' being pre-set....

Also...how would I print it out....

When I've seen this done the placecards were on the table, but you could always put a note on a placecard table asking people to please place them at the their seat - make some cute poem or something. And as for their choice, I've only seen people put a C, B or V in the bottom right corner of the card.

Maybe you could print 2 place cards. One for a table when they walk in and one to stay at their seats??

My friend put colored rhinestones on the top right corner of each placecard. Each color represented either chicken, beef or vegetarian. The waiters knew which color was which so all they did was look at the placecard and they knew who had which meal!

HAHA! Too cute! What other ideas can we come up with? Maybe I could have different colored cards for different dinners?
