So I got my Place cards today YAY but I thought they would have folded and they dont and know I have to try and find Place card holders My dad told me just lay them on the table but I think that looks tacky. What would you guys do lay them on the table or buy Place card holders?

Re: PlaceCards
I bought wooden clothes pins super cheap at target (like $1.15 for a pack of 50) and I'm going to hang the bridal party's place cards on string for the look and the rest I'm setting up on the table like the picture example below.
It goes with my theme since lady and the tramp are my cake toppers, and its going off of the alley scene where there are clothes hanging in background, and I have an old chianti bottle to put on the table.
Also, before I came up with that idea I bought needle nose pliers and was going to buy copper wire from home depot and make my own place card holders. Definitely a somewhat tedious project, but cheaper than buying them at $1 a pop!
In short, get creative! Hope that helps!

Re: PlaceCards
There are so many cute display ideas out there besides holders. If you're doing a nature theme, you get grass (real or artificial) in a mental tin and prop the cards up in that. Or you can use wine corks and just cut a slit into them. Or you can hang them, or put them on a bulletin board, or lie a bulletin board flat, with push-pins, and prop them up on that. Tons of really cute, unique, and inexpensive ideas to choose from!

Cute idea! And for the op, I agree with the other girls, I think a holder would be nice.

Re: PlaceCards

or
you could just buy new place cards. I got folded one for about 12 $ from paper direct. I am doing my own calligraphy myself.
