Placecards for the millionth time - Tulips

Ok. So, I'm thinking that I want to use the wheat grass or artificial grass option. But instead of doing just simple placecards. I want to stick tulips into the artifical grass and attach the place cards to them.

Not using real tulips. Either...

1) Lollipop tulips

2) Chocolate tulips

3) Silk tulips

4) Wooden tulips

I don't have pictures of these but it depends on pricing. What do you girls think?

silk may look cheap and i really don't like the wooden ones for some reason (sorry!). if you get a lollipop or chocolate then at least ppl can eat it instead of just throwing it away.

I like the idea of lollipops - imagine the rainbow of colors that you'd be able to work with!!! (Yeah you can do that with silk but you can't eat that!)

So true. In looking at the silk ones. I keep noticing how fake they look.

I looooooooove this idea! I so want to do it, too! What about making the actual escort card the tulip part out of paper and just attaching them to a wooden stick and sticking them in the dirt? I don't think I'm explaining it very well. Does this make sense?
