Can you recommend some places for pictures on LI besides Old Westbury Gardens?
Also does anyone know how much it cost to take pics there?

the sands point fee i think is $50 if u live in the town/have a town leisure pass and $100 if u dont (but i forget)...and u need a 'permit' which is a piece of paper from them which u can get from the day of without a problem (it takes like less than 5 min)....which they actually recommend in case of rain so u dont lose your $

Are you looking for a specific type of pics? Beach, park, architecture, mansion? Or is there a certain part of LI?

I'll be taking my e-pics at the Caprtee state park island... My photography said you can get the bridge in the background, the lighthouse, you can go right on the dunes...etc etc... Soo...that's what we will be doing... Waiting till the end of the summer.

I work at FSC and I have to say the gardens are amazing in late spring/summer and fall. Early spring its more trees then flowers and winter is just trees (no winter garden) but they have old buildings that are just amazing and they have a greenhouse that has a pretty fountain. Just some great shots to take there. Just have to call the campus and inform them your going to take pics not sure on the charge.

Bayard Cutting Arboretum in Oakdale. There is a $50 permit fee and the place is gorgeous.
