places for undergarments??

Well, I was about to take a ride out to Blum's in Patchogue today to get a bra for under my dress (I'm a 34DD and I wanted to finally get a good bra that fits right for my wedding!) since my first fitting is Saturday. but, exit 63 on the LIE is just TOO far from Uniondale....any one recommend any places good for this in Nassau County?? thanks!!

Do you work in NYC?

Im going to a highly recommended shop in midtown called BraTenders. They make the undergarments for broadways shows and actors. Lots of busty girls have sung their praises.

Im going next Weds.

Definitely try Miriam's Corsettiers on Hempstead Trnpk in East Meadow - she's tucked away in the corner of the shopping center where Pearl Art & Craft is - near the Pizza Kings.
That's where I got my undergarments for my wedding day. She'll custom fit you.

I went in Brooklyn to a place called Olga's. The corset fits really well and it wasnt that expensive either.

You can try Sylvia's in Rockville Centre and Mary's in Woodbury. Sylvia's was very nice and I ended up getting a Goddess strapless bra in the same size as you. It fits beautifully. Even the salons noticed.

I was referred to mary's in Woodbury, right on Woodbury Rd - didn't hear about any lines though

I hope it's not too crowded when I find some time to go!

I went to Mary's in Woodbury 15 minutes before they opened and there was already a 4 hour wait!

That's when I went to Sylvia's in RVC. No line, no wait and good service.

I have not been there personally, but a good friend just went to great shapes in roslyn and loved it there.

I SECOND THIRD AND FOURTH BRA TENDERS!

Good research Stef - the place is the best. And I left with the perfect bra for $60, and a little special thing for my own treat! (and my FH!)

I highly suggest - they were a breeze and they have everything there.
