Can anyone tell me a few good places for wedding gowns in the city? I am planning a day in the city and I am not sure where to start. I am looking for a rather larger store with a nice selection.

iF YOU Go to RK bridal DONT go on the weekend, it is a madhouse, go on a weekday.
BTW if you want to go to kleinfelds its by appointment only so call and book one

YES....i made the mistake of going to RK Bridal on a Saturday afternoon. I had to wait at least 2 hours to try on dresses.....and they only let you bring FIVE dresses in since it's so busy.

The one in Brooklyn closed down and moved to the city. Its kind of a bummer because I live walking distance from the old location!!!

no the one in brooklyn moved to the city, theres only that one in the city now
BTW have your cc with you when you book an appointment...the appt is free but they take your cc # bc if you want to cancel or reschedule you need to do it 48 hrs in advance otherwise you get charged $50

they have reem acra at kleinfelds btw, i tried one one...they just had their reem acra trunk show two weeks ago when i went.
This weekend its badgley mischka...every weekend there is a trunk show at kleinfelds, check their site to see of upcoming trunk shows and if theres a designer you are interested in schedule it for that day
