hi ladies!! just incase you forgot, im up in MA. im looking for a place on LI that has a LOT of maggie dresses so that i can make an appt. for when i come home. I've called places around here in boston, and they had pretty much NONE of the styles i was looking for - i was bummed. any advice on LI shops that had a lot of her styles?

i did that, but when i called some of those stores around here in boston, i gave them the names of the dresses i was looking to try on and they had like 1 or 2 of them...but i was looking for 7 or 8...so i was trying to find a place on LI that would have more than 1 style that i liked. this dress business is trickier than i expected!!!

I'm in Boston now too and had the hardest time finding bridal stores to try on dresses. I wanted to try on Watters & Watters dresses and the only place in Boston that carried them was Priscilla of Boston...and they only had like 4 of them....then they kept pressuring me to try on their line (which I can not afford). ugh.
I ended up making a trip back home...and went to RK Bridal....I believe they carry a large selection of Maggie Sottero...

Paradise Bridal in Patchogue carries them. They don't tell you the designer of the dresses that you try on, so I don't know exactly how that would work if you were requesting specific dresses. They have tons of dresses though, and I know a bunch of them were Maggies because after I had gone there I went home and did a search trying to find the dress I loved. I guess call them and hopefully they'll tell you if they carry the styles you're looking for. It be stupid to turn you away. If you have any luck, when you go there you should request Roseanne. She's such a sweet lady!

the wedding center of commack had a lot of maggie sottero dresses, I think that is where I tried on the one you were asking about in my album.

I got mine at Wedding WORLD in commack. I got an awesome price on it too!!! I saw my dress for $1500 in princess bridals in farmingdale and $1000 somewhere else. Got it for $600 there.

I had to call 19 different stores on LI and into the city to find the Maggie dress I wanted. They all seemed to have the same amount of maggies... they just carry different styles. So, if you are looking for a specific style I would suggest calling around. They will all tell you they have ones that are similar to that style that you can try on and that they can order you the one you want... but, it's really not the same as trying on the one you really want.
