Ok, I'm sure by now you can all tell I am new at this with my million questions but I want to start looking for a wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses (or at least figure out the color I want to use!) but I'm not aware of many places on LI. Help me! Of course I have heard of David's Bridal and I know Macy's has a bridal section. I have also heard of the Wedding Center in Commack and plan to check that out, but where else in LI?? And are there specific places I should stay away from due to bad experiences? Help me out please!

Lillette's!!! Many LIW brides have gotten their gowns through them. They just moved to their new location in Bellmore.

hi congrats.... Try Helen's Bridal in Commack. It is inside wedding world but worth the trip. I worked with Liz and she is amzing. It is a smaller shop but I would not trade it for the personal attention i got there. Can't wait to see my dress as it comes in at the end of the month

I got my dress at the Wedding Salon of Manhasset. Everyone that works there is soooo sweet, it was a great shopping experience :)

The places I went to were: princess bridal wedding center in commack bridal reflections carle place/massapequa village bridal lillette's(bought my dress with lillette's)
i also looked at carmela's bridal garden and lynbrook bridal (for me the customer service at both places were eh and, although carmela seemed VERY nice her staff was a bit rude) but other brides had good experiences with them. FM me if you want more info.
Also, I'm kicking myself now because I already bought my dress and LOVE it but wish I would have gone to Kleinfeld's just for the experience. I'd suggest going to Kleinfeld's too!

I LOVED Wedding Salon of Manhasset, which is where I ultimately got my dress. They make you feel like a princess and are incredibly knowledgeable about each designer and which adjustments can be made to each dress. I also had a great experience at Lilette's. Village Bridal in Babylon was OK - I like that they let you go through the racks but the people there gave me like no guidance and they didn't help dress you so by the end, my mom and I were so exhausted that we couldn't even savor how the dresses looked!

hi, I bought my dress at bridal suite in centereach. They were great, very nice and the prices weren't bad. I went to macy's first and I found some of the same dresses at bridal suite for a lot cheaper
