I need to get the ball rolling with picking out invites. I see a lot online that look great, but where would you suggest going to actualy see, feel and order them? A friend gave me the number of 'a lady' who does this out of her home but she hasn't returned my calls. Anyone have any ideas?

I got mine from Long Island Wedding Boutique in Commack..they are a vendor on here. They have a ton of books...highly recommend them.

Youre Invited Too, her name is Tara, she also comes to your house, shes amazing! She brings ALL the books to you and really helps you make a decison.. Shes NOT pushy at all, and VERY patient!
Fairytale Affairs in Massapequa has a ton of books, but they tend to be a little on the expensive side. Hallmark stores also have a lot of wedding invitation books.

How about going to Kinkos or Party City and looking through the books. Just to get ideas for now.

In Huntington village there's Lion in the Sun right on 25a. They have a ton of books from all different companies.

Check out 'Follow your Heart' in West Islip...it's a family-run business. Kathy gives discounts on all her invites and favors and the calligraphy was only $1 per set and $1 per placecard...here's their number: 631.376.1414 I believe they are closed for a week starting tomorrow but definitely worth checking out next week!!!
