any suggestions on where to take engagement photos? My fiance and I both like the city and he loves bridges so we were thinking somewhere where we could get a bridge in the background....but I would also like some greenery Any suggestions... Thanks!

You can go to Brooklyn Bridge Park / Empire Fulton Ferry Park. There isn't a whole lot of green, but there's a small pebble beach and both the bklyn and manhattan bridges over you. You can also go down off the belt by shore road where you can have the green parks there and the verrazzano in the background. Another option is going up to the park where the Cloisters is (I think it's Fort Tryon Park) which has beautiful trees, and the GW bridge in the background. Hope this helps!

We did our's on Roosevelt Island, where you could def. get a number of bridges in your pics.

Another vote for the Brooklyn Bridge! It's really nice over there and you have a mix of greenery and an urban feel.

I did mine by Argyle Lake in Babylon. There is a nice bridge with a waterfall in the backround.

Brooklyn Bridge Park is awesome...I would suggest it for the possibilities. they have grass, picnic tables, city skyline, boardwalk type area, lots of water, mini beach area, rocks, Bridges, an old Tobacco warehouse and the streets of DUMBO. You can have so many different looks in one area and some with works of art - metal sculptures doting the park. Not to mention slipping into Jacques Torres for some chocolate or heading over to Grimaldi's for pizza after the shoot.
ETA Other places are Central Park...even more possibilities Botanical Gardens Sands Point OWG South Street Seaport Governor's Island Fire Island various vineyards
