Any suggestions on where to take pics??? I love the brooklyn bridge, but its too out of the way that day and don't know many places in LI......

Depends what you're looking for. I agree, the beaches, either on LI or Bklyn, the bridge, Old Westbury Gardens . . .

This was my issue too. I wanted Old Westbury Gardens, but after speaking with a potential photograher, we decided we more than likely will go to DUMBO, we have time to spare.

I just saw a brides review where she took pics at the Vanderbilt Museum and I was blown AWAY!
But ask your photographer for ideas...they usually know best!

i would love to do the bklyn bridge, but it is so out of the way for us and on a fri evening traffic is going to be mizz....

LOL Its on the brooklyn side under the Manhattan Bridge - 'down under the manhattan bridge overpass'
Its so nice there!! I just wish I had time to go - I have three hours in between my church (if it runs on time) and the cocktail hours - it takes about 1 hour from me to get to the fox hollow (live in bergen beach/mill basin brooklyn) and on a fri afternoon im scared of traffic!!!!

You should consider taking the pics at the RH. I feel like I have so much time after. My church is at 2:00 and cocktail hour is at 6:30. We are only having a ceremony, not a mass.
If not I would try planting fields in Oyster Bay, but I think Old Westbury Gardens will be closer.
