Is there any place i can take pics that is near the Watermill? We have some time between the ceremony and the cocktail hour. I originally wanted to go to the westbury gardens but i wouldn't have been able to stay there the hour and a half that i would have been paying A LOT of money for. so i couldn't justify going there.
Any suggestions? thanks

Try the Bayard Cutting arboretum in Oakdale. My sister had her pictures taken there and they came out beautiful. Hey! We're almost twin dates!! Only a year apart!!

I am getting married at the Watermill and we are taking pictures at the Vanderbilt Museum in Centerport. It is about 40 min away but we have full use of the inside and outside gardens for $300. If you want to look in my community album you can see what it looks like. Good Luck!

We took ours at the Holtsville Ecology Center! You need to make an appt though. You can't just show up. We were very happy there because it was inside, so we didn't have to worry about the weather. All they ask for is a donation. Check out my album for a few pics.

There is a park across from the Three Village Inn in StonyBrook. If you don't have a lot of time in between the church and reception that is a great place because it is close to the Watermill.

My parents live at Hamlet so I took mine there; if there is no wedding at Hamlet they may let you. I would call. (Hamlet Windwatch in Hauppauge)

Really? Try and call again. Ask for Cathy. We paid $300 just to secure the inside and on my wedding day we spent the majority of the time inside to take pics because it poured!!!
