Places to throw a bridal shower..

Hey Girls - I know I can count on you for your insight regarding where to throw a nice bridal shower. Nothing crazy expensive. We are looking for a place that can accommodate a group of 50 people preferably in Nassau County or Queens.

Suggestions Please!!

The George Washingtom Manor does a REALLY nice job. Also, look into Milleridge Inn or Milleridge Carriage House

I was at a really nice bridal shower at Papa Razzi it is on 1500 Jericho Turnpike, Westbury, NY (516) 877-7744. I think this was the nicest place. Maybe worth looking into cause it is close to Northern and Meadowbrook Pkwy which would be easy for everyone to get to. I found the website for you too..Good Luck!

From what my bridal party has told me the Fox Hollow Inn hosts a great bridal shower

I just had my shower at the Davenport Press in Mineola. They have a great package for showers and provide the umbrella and wishing well so you don't have to rent it.

The food was excellent and the private room was beautiful. Good Luck.

Bridgeview yacht club has a pretty upsatirs that can hold 50-75 people it is on the water with a private bathroom and balcony. $$$ is good too.

Giardinos on little neck Pkwy. They have private rooms. They offer a lot of food, plus cake, plus unlimited beer, wine and soda for $32.50 per plate. Even cheaper if you don't want the unlimited beer and wine.

There is also Verdi's of whitestone which is very affordable and more of a 'reception hall' then a restaurant.

I threw my sister's shower at Crabtrees restaurant on Jericho Turnpike in Floral Park. The room can hold 50, has a private deck that you can use, and the food was great.
