Plan a wedding on a $10,000 budget

Okay, imagine that you only had a $10,000 budget total for your wedding including honeymoon for 50-60 guests.... Where would you have it?? What vendors do you think you would use??? Anyone other ideas?? We are pretty set on our destination wedding but I keep dreaming that we can afford a nice wedding on Long Island within our budget. We want to have our ceremony at our hall, preferably outdoors in a garden. Will consider having ceremony at one location and reception at another if necessary. Also the next most important thing to me is our photographer...I would also like to have a videoor at least our ceremony. Other than that everything else is negotiable. Just doubling checking my options, again, lol...Thanks!

It's totally possible.

Rules:
- only invite people you want at the wedding
- NEGOCIATE EVERYTHING
- Accept compremises (are you willing to have less roses in your BK?, 1 photographer vs 2? etc..). Some stuff you don't want to cut, that's fine, find where you are WILLING to cut.
- Be realistic and open minded

Example of savings:
I reused my ceremony arch flowers as centerpieces. The florist designed them to be removed and reused somewhere else.

It is totally do-able. You have to find the right RH at the right price. There is the Long Beach Golf Club that is very inexpensive and I dont think there is any minimum that would be out of control and its a pretty nice room. I think they have good prices for in-season weddings like May. If you go out of season you can of course go almost anywhere and get a good price! Basically with the suggestions that everyone else said, you can do it....inexpensive gown, DIY CPs, 1 photographer, do your own albums, DIY invites, etc. It can be done! You can even go on a 1 week all inclusive HM in Dominican Republic for $1500 total including airfare....my parents go all of the time, check out cheapcaribbean.com.
