Planning

When should I start planning again? I have secured the venue and dress. Arranged a date to ask bridal party. Planned engagement pictures for save the dates. Have florists, DJ, photographer, make-up and stylists. What else should I do before June?

I like to do everything early, personally. Are you having a videographer? If so, I would look at that, limos, officiants, and invitations and have those booked by June. Also wouldn't hurt to order your wedding bands by then!

What Lori said. Plus reception decor, stationary (table numbers, escort cards, programs, menus, invites, etc.). THe bridesmaid dresses and tuxes need to be ordered (my bridesmaid dresses take 5-6 months to come in, then alterations, etc.). Hotel block and shuttle for OOT guests, registry.

I am searching for a videographer too.
Reception decor?????? I thought the venue did that! OMG
Stationary I have ideas wasn't going to do programs and menus, should I?
BM dresses will be arranged in December.
I don't think we have any OOT guests, if we do they will probably just stay with us (we have the room).
Registry.......wasn't going to do that either. We don't need anything. Whatever I receive it will appreciate.

Thanks Ladies.

You can call your venue and see if they do menus for me. I just found out that my venue won't 'let' you print your own menus, you have to purchase them from the venue, so see what your place says with regards to that.

I'm NOT a DIY-er by any stretch of the imagination but I do plan on making my own programs. You can search for templates online or see if one of the lovely ladies on here can send you their program!

Sorry, I guess I should've elaborated. My venue does one wedding at a time, so I want to decorate the fireplace mantles and lobby with pictures of FH and me. I've been buying frames for table numbers, candles and frames for the lobby (the hall might provide votive candles, but I wanted different ones), bathroom baskets, etc. The venue provides menus, but I wanted to print them in my wedding colors. Programs are totally up to you, I am having a church wedding, so I definitely wanted to include programs.

Timber Pointe was my absolute first choice Angie2014 but all decision makers said it was too far for us to travel. I can picture what you are going to do. I will see if I can do that there because I love that idea. When I went to show my decision makers the venue at Timber they were setting up for a wedding and it was nice to see the personalization. Thanks for everything. I am going to ask about the programs once I finalize the invitations.
