Im planning my best friends bridal shower and she has asked me to be her matron of honor and I'm so honored but i don't want to screw it up. I have never been in a shower let alone matron of honor. her bridal party consist of me and one other. Do i pay for everything? her mom lives in florida and is going to come to the shower but finances are tight for her from my conversations with my friend i hear. This leads me to my other question she is moving to florida in october should i have the shower before she relocates or have her fly back. All her friends live here and she is open to both ideas. She is getting married in may. If i do have the party here after she has relocated do i ask everyone to ship the gifts to her house? so confused thank you in advance for answering all my questions.

Is she getting married here? If she is getting married here, I'd probably have it right before the wedding (if she's going to be up here more than a week before her wedding). If not, I'd have it before she moves. Either way, I'd have people ship the large presents to FL so she doesn't have to bring them with her.

She is getting married in florida in may. She is relocating in october. She said she didn't mind flying back down for the shower but wasn't sure if it made since.

I would have the shower before she moves. This way it can hopefully be a surprise. Also, she does not have to have an added expense of flying back and forth
