Have or are any of you ladies planned or planning an out of state wedding? My FH and I are now considering it but not being there to meet with vendors is making me a bit nervous! Any advice?

ummm.. the best advice I could give would me to find sites just like this one in that state. Look for message boards and read what girls in that state are saying about the vendors.

Well I am planning an LI wedding from out of state, so I know how you feel. Where are you looking to get married? If you have any friends or family in the area that you trust and can delegate some of the tasks to, like meeting with some of the vendors or doing little things, then that would really help. If not, then a lot of places have sites similar to this with vendors and recommendations. Good luck!

Maybe see if you can find a website like this for the state you are getting married in. They can recommend some different vendors for you.
