Planning a wedding in 2 months

So I know I may be crazy, but we are very excited. I am getting married at The Allegria Hotel at the end of August and I need to find a photographer, we have met with ADA but it seemed expensive I was wondering if anyone knows of any other photographers out there.

I have my DJ booked
I have my steel drum player booked
I have my dress, veil and headband
Invitations ordered
Hotel reserved
Rings ordered
Meeting with Florist this weekend
Dress shopping tomorrow with Bridesmaids

I think I am doing good for only deciding two weeks ago to get married.

Please let me know about the photographers/videographers.

THANKS!

Re: Planning a wedding in 2 months

First of all welcome and congrats!! Now...yes your going to go crazy but I planned my first wedding in 6 weeks, and it was a big over the top Italian white wedding so it is possible! It seems like you have a lot of things done already...so good for you. I looked at your list and you seem good...only thing I didn't see were favors, tuxes, anything to do with bridal party?? Just a thought. Regarding photographers...there are so many to chose from. If you could give us an idea of what you are looking for we can help out a bit more. Also, did you want video also??

Re: Planning a wedding in 2 months

We are going to look at tuxes this weeked at Mens Warehouse and I am taking the girls shopping tomorrow for dresses.

I just want a photographer that does good work and that is easy to work with. I have heard about a lot of photog's but I really dont have the time to go see 6 more people.
I heard Amanda Piccone, Patken and Duet any reviews on them?

I am not sure about a video yet I know I want one, but I really dont need the entire reception, I only want the ceremony, entry into the reception first dance, mother son dance, mother daughter dance ( no father present) the cake cutting I do not want a video with everyone jumping and dancing around.

I have heard nothing but great things about the three you mentioned. They were out of my price range, but I am a 'cheap' bride, and all seemed to book up quickly. I'm not sure how many options you will have with so little time. I would call around to places that interest you and see if they are available. That should help narrow down the list a lot. HTH
