How bad is it that I haven't gotten a florist yet or picked out invitations!!!
Can someone suggest a place for resonably prices invites?
I feel like this wedding is going to be a complete disaster! but if I don't get those invites out in time - no one will witness the chaotic messed i tried to plan!!!
Where did the time go?!

Relax you have time. Go to Just Announce It in Oceanside. My fsil just got her invites for her 7/7/07 wedding. She ordered them two weeks ago and they are in and being addressed already. She also just got quotes from Florists. You will be fine just go now!! Good luck.

I'm going to use Kathy at The Invitation Station (Sweet Nut Hut) in Deer Park. She knows her stuff, is really nice and gives really personal service (and her prices are very reasonalble!).

I only have the RH booked and thats it, dont worry you have plenty of time. I have the RH but no church yet I should be panicing

Don't stress ! ! ! ! I just booked a florist 2 1/2 weeks ago, my invites came in 1 1/2 weeks ago and we just booked HM 2 days ago .. . . . .and I am getting married a month before you!
We still have to book limos, tuxs and FH still has to ask one of his friends if he wants to be a GM ! !
All with 87 days to go!
I keep telling myself, it will all come together in the end. Try not to stress, it will just make things worse.

just take it one step at a time. make a list of what you need to do and when you plan to do it. once your plan is on paper and you visually see that you do indeed have time to get done what you need to get done, you can stop worrying.
for invites, i went with Classic Favors and Invitaions in Centereach on Middle Country Road. Great selection and prices. I also recommend my florist, Flowers by Gilda, for Very reasonably priced flowers. Her info can be found in my review.
Good luck with your planning! Don't stress, you will get it all done! BTW, 7/7 is a Grrreat day to get married on

MPAS, you have more than a year. I wasn't even engaged yet then!
And, HollyMac, you have time. I only ordered my invitations a couple of weeks ago, and my wedding is more than a month before yours. Just start looking immediately. Do you have an idea of styles? I'm sure you have some bridal magazines, look in there. Look online and get an idea of prices and styles. Then check out some actual invitation stores, like the ones others have suggested. I ordered my invitations online from White Aisle so I can't recommend anyone local.
As far as flowers are concerned, it's not too bad. The reason so many brides book early is that they want the best selection. No bride wants to hear 'sorry, can't do it, I'm already overbooked for that day.' Check out recommednations on this board, then make some phone calls, or post in the 'Vendors Helping Brides' section of LIW, giving the date and size of your wedding, and any ideas you might have (all roses, all pink flowers, etc.)

Im also a July bride and I was saying the same thing the other day. I still have not decided on invites but I have an idea of what I want, no florist as of yet but Im looking. I have to get limos, and so much more stuff. My favors, programs, etc.
I keep thinking I will forget something. But it will all come together. My cousin planned a wedding in months last year. So we can do it

oh thank god! This just made me feel better about my own situation. My church just told me that they might not be able to accomodate my date and I already have the hall....I know a little of it is my fault ugh!!...

Girls I feel so happy knowing I am not alone. When I started visiting this board i started freaking out b/c sooooo many people had things done and their weddings are many months away. Mine is only baby steps away. I just fordered my favors and invites 2 weeks ago. And all 150 favors have to be wrapped, I am doing my own handmade programs, menu and seating cards, etc.
Now I am stressing out over hair and makeup person. At least with invites, and flowers vendors can work with more than one bride
