So this is a huge challenge. Im helping my friend plan her wedding in Maine. I sent her a bajillion places to look at. But the one that I think would be best (cus its what she asked for. A barn and in southern maine and 200+ people) She said she doesn't like it cus it is too expensive. She wants to spend $15 a person with alcohol!!!! Are you kidding me???? I told her that wont happen. This place is beautiful and reasonably priced for the area. Actually its excelltly priced for the area. I want to help her plan and I can doo it for a good price, but she isn't being realistic!

Wow! 15 per person is a little unreasonable... Perhaps a brunch might be more cost effective? Even with that price, it's going to be hard to do....

$15/person w/alcohol!?!?!? I don't know how Maine is but I can't imagine getting that done anywhere in the US! I guess do some comparison shopping, tell her the quotes and she will just have to realize that $15/person won't happen. Good luck!

She wants an afternoon wedding. But wants sit down and not a buffet. She really ahs no clue about wedding costs. LOL. Her mom told my mom not to tell her any bad things about wedding cus she can't handle it. LOL. And my mom was like ummmm dont expect it to be cheap!! I told her to do it in our neighborhood park where there is a large lot and ball field and a pool and tennis courts. I said she should get a tent. But she refuses to do an outside wedding. haha maybe she should do pot luck!!

what county in maine is she getting married in.
also i read your prior bullentin is her 10,000 just to the reception or for everything like hall, dj, photographer and etc.

Tell her i just spent $20.24 at Panera for lunch for FH and i with no alcohol. That price with alcohol is insane!!! Maybe we should all go get married up north
